Description
The Academy of the Holy Names is looking for a dynamic leader to serve as principal of our all-girls high school. The right candidate will have the confidence to lead an experienced faculty as it seeks to balance 21st century teaching strategies with a rich history and tradition. He or she must be prepared to create a culture in which faculty and students are enabled and inspired to do their best. Our next principal will be a versatile, lifelong learner who understands what is necessary to fulfill the school’s progressive vision while adhering to the core values of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.
Qualifications
Applications are requested by November 30, 2015, and will be reviewed as they arrive. Select candidates will be interviewed. The contract year begins July 1, 2016; salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Complete benefits information is available at holynamestpa.org.
The Academy of the Holy Names is an independent, Catholic, coeducational elementary school and a college preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of school administration experience
- Master’s degree in educational leadership or related field
- The chosen candidate must be a practicing Catholic.

- A résumé
- A one-page statement of his/her educational philosophy
- A list of at least three references
